Pundays: Sid Vicious
It was a week of Thanksgiving... and you can bet for sure that the good folks at the NHL.com Pun Headline Writing Department are thankful that Sidney Crosby is back where he belongs... on the front page.

Good thing NHL.com didn't blur his mouth.
By now, everyone knows that Sidney Crosby pretty much duplicated the amazing comeback of his boss, Mario Lemeiux. And of course, the Pun Headline writers at NHL.com were all over the story. But to really appreciate the triumphant return of The Kid to the front page of NHL.com... you have to take a look back at the past year to see how far they've come.

3/14/11
Crosby is skating on ice.

4/29/11
Crosby is not skating on ice.

8/17/11
Crosby is still not skating on ice.
And then the firestorm... sure, they aren't all Pun Headlines... but to say that NHL.com was excited about Sidney Crosby coming back would be a bit of an understatement.

Crosby has been cleared.

Crosby is returning.

Crosby is minutes away from returning.

We have a camera on Crosby for every second of his return.

We have a blogger that blogs every second of Crosby's return.

We have a recap of the blogger that blogs every second of Crosby's return.

We have live front page updates of every point Crosby scores in his return.

Yawn, wake me when Crosby struggles.
And this weeks winner of "Best Pun Headline about a Pittsburgh Penguins player that isn't Sidney Crosby..."
