I wish there was some way to visually represent what the faces of Vancouver Canucks fans must have looked like when the Los Angeles Kings beat them 4-2 in Game 2 of the 1st Round of the Stanley Cup Finals.
The Los Angeles Kings come back to LA with a 2 game lead that has all of Canada acting calmly panicking the fuck out. I know that Vancouver is a very green-friendly city... so it's great that they'll be able to recycle this headline from Game 1 for Game 2.
After watching two playoff games of the Los Angeles Kings against the Vancouver Canucks I now understand why the Canucks are struggling with their identity.
Because their fans have no idea which of their 40 jerseys to wear to a game.
I'm not saying that the fans of the Vancouver Cancucks are out of touch with pop culture...
Really, Canada? THIS is the guy who has more goals than Henrik Sedin, Ryan Kesler and David Booth combined?
Honestly... I don't even want to know what Justin Williams is thinking about right now.
But I'm sure it will make him smile.
Jarret Stoll has the cold dead stare of a guy who's been to the Stanley Cup Finals as an 8th seed before.
Or there was a really cute actress sitting across from him.
While Anze Kopitar just looks cold and dead.
The 1st two games of this series were broadcast on KCOP 13, a local channel in Los Angeles. And Channel 13 was obviously worried about the series being a sweep since they were trying hard to get all their puns out in one night.
It's been revealed that in Game 1 Alex Burrows taunted Mike Richards' alleged partying ways by mocking some cocaine snorting. But I think it's really classless that the Canucks Head Coach Alain Vigneault joined in during Game 2.

"How about now, Mike?"
"No... still waiting for Kesler to land."
Up 2-0 in a playoff series for the first time since... well... 1968. Or as I like to call it... the Los Angeles Kings 1st season in the NHL. It's enough to make you smile while you flip something over in celebration.
Daniel Sedin is out for Game 3-4. I'm trying to stay calm because I'm a life-long LA Kings fans and I know they'll find a way to screw it up... but it may be time for the Vancouver Canucks to kiss this 1st Round Series goodbye.
