Ahhh... the smell of the first game of the pre-season. Sure, it doesn't matter in the standings... you can't watch it on TV... and there is no way I'd spend actual money to go to it... but for most Los Angeles Kings fans it's the best way to see some of the amazing young stars for your favorite team in action. Right?

Aww... who cares about pre-season anyway? At least one of the newest King acquisitions, Simon Gagne, seems to already be in mid-season form.

What say you? Is anyone heading to Staples Center for the game tonight?
