A coach that is on the hot seat. A player brought in via a trade that is not fitting in with his new system. And a backup goalie that is struggling to find his form early in the season. I guess these two teams do have a lot in common, huh?

Oh... I've just been told that apparently Roberto Luongo is NOT
the backup goalie for the Vancouver Canucks. My mistake.

I think it's funny when Canucks fans accuse David Booth of struggling since he's come over to the Vancouver Canucks in a trade for former King, Marco Sturm. Because even though he's only managed 1 goal and 3 assists in 7 games with the Canucks... he's still outscoring Dustin Penner by 1 point. So consider yourself lucky, Canucks fans. But the person on the Kings who is most excited about David Booth being in the Western Conference is Mike Richards... so that this time... he can finish the job. 

So weird that Booth hasn't been the same player since this hit.

Well, we had a lot of fun on Tuesday night with Dustin Penner's incredibly impressive secondary assist followed by a primary assist performance. So tonight, for Penner Point... we are going to swtitch it up. For the game against the Canucks, you have to pick the time and period that Dustin Penner SCORES AN ACTUAL GOAL. None of this secondary assist bullshit... it's time to man up when it comes to Penner Point.
