11-11-11
In honor of a date that only happens once a century, I thought I would look back at the Top 3 best and worst #11's in Los Angeles Kings history.

This is definitely the worst 311 in history.

THE TOP 3 11's

Charlie Simmer
384 games as a LA King.
222 goals, 244 assists, 466 points.
The lesser known member of the Triple Crown Line. And the first star Kings player to demand a trade.
GREATEST MOMENT AS AN LA KING
Today, Coach Murray would have split up the Triple Crown Line after 3 games.

Mike Donnelly
307 games as a LA King.
87 goals, 83 assists, 170 points.
Teamed with Tony Granato and Corey Millen to form a great line in the 93 playoffs
that was 5' 11", 5' 10" and 5' 7" respectively.
GREATEST MOMENT AS AN LA KING

Anze Kopitar
409 games as a LA King.
146 goals, 232 assists, 378 points.
GREATEST MOMENT AS AN LA KING
You are watching it.
THE WORST 3 11's

Brandon Convery
3 games as a LA King.
0 goals, 0 assists, 0 points.
A former 8th overall pick by the Toronto Maple Leafs, Convery is now coaching the LA Jr Kings as well as a "mentor."
WORST MOMENT AS AN LA KING
The time he allowed himself to be a "featured alumni" at the Kings Hockey Fest.

Jason Blake
82 games as a LA King.
7 goals, 21 assists, 28 points.
WORST MOMENT AS AN LA KING
Jason Blake didn't really have a worst moment as an LA King. I'm just upset that he was traded to the New York Islanders and went on to become a consistent goal scorer. Because that's never happened before.

Anson Carter
15 games as a LA King.
0 goals, 1 assists, 1 points.
Don't let anyone think the Dustin Penner deal was the greatest deadline deal bust for LA. Anson Carter came to the
Kings for Jared Aulin and managed 1 point in 15 games. The next season he scored 33 goals with the Sedin Twins.
WORST MOMENT AS AN LA KING
Every single moment of it.
