Nichol and Dimed
"We had a lot of immaturity in our game, not doing the same things that we did in the first two games and the first period of this game. Eventually it comes back to bite us.”
-Robb Scuderi, after the Kings Game 3 loss in Overtime

Until Drew Doughty can learn to not be irritated by a 5'9" 4th liner with 7 points this season... this team can go nowhere. Doughty's 2nd period scrum with Scott Nichol led to a 4 on 4 skating situation in which the San Jose Sharks scored 2 quick goals. The Kings were playing catch up after that.

The guy on the left is the fierce warrior that took down Drew Doughty.
I'm all for Drew Doughty playing with an edge. But there is a big divide between edge and complete immaturity. I absolutely love watching Drew Doughty play each and every night... but he's becoming a bit of a whiny bitch. I want Doughty to have a nasty streak, just make sure you are using that nastiness on the right guy in Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. With last night's loss, the Los Angeles Kings might have kissed their playoff hopes goodbye.

15 goals scored by the Sharks in the series and you have 1, Joe Thornton.
